Edited 3 months agodon't have any other copies to compare this to but mine is super disappointing. got it because the color is great and matches perfectly with the cover but not really worth it. constant clicking and surface noise. considering this is a sparse record it is very intrusive
Super solid release. Very pleased with it all around. Ten worss- Pretty much a perfect pressing, whenever I see “mastered by capitol” on the deadwax, it’s gonna be a great pressing imo
- Edited 2 years agoI'm a latecomer to Mac Demarco's music and this was the first full album I listened to. After, I tried his other releases but still like this one best. To top it off, the limited pressing is decent and the green marble vinyl looks special. The only downside, the vinyl is a bit uneven but that doesn't seem to cause any distortion.
Edited 3 years agoMy copy does not have the "Caroline" label logo on the back cover. Only the "Mac's Record Label" along with its bar code in the opposite corner. Everything else seems to be the same compared to the pics on this release including the sticker on the shrinkwrap. Purchased in Denver, CO last month.
Master sounds nice and vinyl has just a bit of low clicks here and there.
Pretty nice pressing. Comes in a nice thick gatefold with a poster, and the vinyl is very pretty. Didn't hear any surface noise at all, and I do love a nice gatefold...Pick this one up if you're a Mac fan!
Light surface noise in some parts on my copy, but nothing too distracting. Solid pressing overall. Definitely pickup if you’re a Big Mac fan. Probably my least favorite record he’s released, but still is enjoyable throughout.
