https://www.discogs.com/Unknown-Artist-Untitled-Speed/release/622543 - Edited 9 years agoSo, who can confirm? this is same release as LV 1 with two similar tracks but different catalog number ?
- Edited 9 years agoSide B samples the film Speed - "There's a bomb on the bus - what do you do?" Hence many copies have the word speed written on it which I thought meant that it was played at the Speed nights down London - and is why I bought it....haha!
But the main track is A side - A real deep affair with a cavernous bass, nice strings and the sweet female vocals of Tammy Lucas, taken form Teddy Riley's HipHop/RnB 'Is It Good To You' - they've been sped up to almost but not quite chipmunk style.
Quality 94 business - grab it if you're into the more soulful deep side of DnB - By a guy called Cookie based in Palmers Green in North London. Great two track vinyl, synonymous with the sound of 1994 in London at the time. I don't think there are too many of these about, my copy is in good condition apart from a loud click at the start of side A which sort of ruins the intro :( Oh well! I will upload youtube audio soon..... ;D
