Reviews
Terrific pressing. The close-mic on Thigpen's cymbals really rings true. All instruments sound superb. Does have some distortion on Hymn to Freedom when Oscar is getting all wild on the ivories, but I've yet to hear a recording of this release that DOESN'T have this! I had this pressing and it bugged me - so I bought a new 180g pressing, and it had the same thing. Just seems to be peaking, and as such is a fault in the recording process, rather than the pressing itself.
