Looks and sounds great but definitely not as great as Frank (I have the Sound of Vinyl pink 2xLP). The back cover is a nightmare to look at but I absolutely love this alt artwork.- Hi I just got the album I ordered the silver version but got the pink. Does anyone know the difference?
Edited 3 years agoJust finished listening. Very good album. Maybe a little quiet? Only surface noise seems to be on the runouts. Maybe one song with a little static or noise on the second side (but could just be I didn't clean it well enough). Very happy with this! Gorgeous color, too!- Has anybody seen this in pink vinyl...from Target apparently, but nowhere to be seen on the website.
Came with a plain white inner sleeve, cleaned before playing. I have zero complaints with this pressing, it plays without any surface noise, the volume isn’t low and has a nice sense of depth. I’m not sure how other pressings sound, but in general this has a dark/warm sound to it, it really compliments the content. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a copy on vinyl.
Just picked this up and I don't have any issues with surface noise on the copy I got. I don't really think I would mind it too much on this record though.- Mine does not have any surface noise (only in the run out groves as well). I did use a cleaning machine. Great pressing finally!
The only surface noise on mine is in the run-out grooves at the end of each side. Other than that, this sounds fine to me (I've only heard this pressing so I can't compare it to others). However, I'm not happy about the plain, white inner sleeve.
Also full of Surface Noise on my copy. The Mastering here is actually spot on, a lot less muddy, but the surface noise ruins the experience unfortunately. I just knew it was going to be that way , but I was really hoping for something different when I pre ordered.
I wanted this pressing to be without surface noise but they said no no no.
