- Very good dynamics. Strongfull sound indeed. Good pressing i quess. But the version is so simple. Just 3 vinyls in jackets without any insert or anything else but whatever . . .
- This is a great album and perfectly put together. I love the jacket photo.
Also, there are markings on each record that tell what side the record is from A to F. - Edited 3 years agosurprised with people complaining about the record sides not appearing on the labels: purpose of this maybe being for these tracks to not have an specified order? theyre unnamed anyways (in my case at least i feel like a kid choosing a random side and getting surprised at what plays)
or maybe you just need to remember the correct picture for each side yourself. not that hard? for that you'll have to pay full attention to each photo and... well, im guessing the whole point of having the forest concept so obvious in these records is for you to actually pay attention to the visuals displayed on them.
the one side with the tree branches picture is my favorite. - Mine came with some visible marks on it. Spin cleaned, marks still there. Maybe didn't dry it long enough. Still, this sounds superb; comparison with HQ Spotify and it sounds much more enveloping...bass is much more prominent as well.
And for those OCD with clicks and pops/surface noise, the entire record has clicks and pops in the actual recording (think he possibly did this to simulate the sound of feet on branches, leaves and twigs), so your enjoyment shouldn't be tarnished in that aspect - Edited one year agoThis reissue is cd track lengths (2 extended tracks sides B and E) and sequence from sides A-E (so includes Oktember A side as track 1). Side F is two vinyl only tracks from original issue
- What a great pressing. The discs are definitely heavier than the Zauberberg repress, and the sound is excellent. Great value for only €25!
