Reviews
- The bad: paper sleeves.
The good: everything else. Both flat, zero non fills and no scuffs and centered.
Sounds great and plays great. Much better than i hoped even! - Side A has really bad inner groove distortion, but otherwise, all the other sides sound amazing. I was never a fan of the updated designs and mastering of later reissues, so I'm happy to own a copy of this particular release.
- Side B was a little noisy and skipped a bit during Holiday. It is probably just an issue with my copy however.
This is still a phenomenal album. I had not listened to it for quite some time and was pleasantly reminded of just how wonderful every track is. The mix sounds great too (or at least better than it did on an iPod Shuffle haha). - Bought the record cheap (especially for double LP), and even tho I listened to few singles before, I heard only good things about this album. The outer sleeves have glossy print and leave fingerprint marks, which is annoying (same goes for labels on record, but less noticeable). Records sound fine, nothing groundbreaking.
- I really wish they would do a better job trying to differentiate pressings. Not sure if I have this press or the 2004 EU press. From what I can see they are IDENTICAL. Any help with differences would be helpful!
- Are the runouts the same as the 2004 version? Because my runouts are, but the 2004 version has an extra pressing ring, so I think I have this version and not the 2004 version. Can someone confirm this?
