Reviews
- I am listening to this on black vinyl nice and heavy pressing. I like the sound. I heard Bob Geldorf describe making music as creating a racket and that is certainly the story of the stones. This ain’t Dire Straights or Sting. These are the guys who mumble and though having the beautiful playing of Mick Taylor in their canon what they do is weave tunes, not just Keith and Ronnie Wood but jaggers voice and Darryl’s Bass with that curiously perfect drumming driving the show through the mod jazz fusion that is Charlie Watts.
This Band is still in fine fettle though they haven’t written much in the last 20 odd years. Bridges to Bremen celebrates the last studio album and does it well. - Disappointed with the quality of sound. Muffled, sounds much worse than the digital version. Something must have gone terribly wrong during mastering for vinyl.
- What's up with this? Every other version is marked "unofficial" - is this 3LP set actually an official release? If so, how's it sound?
