Max Romeo – Words From The Brave

This is another excellent album from one of reggae's greatest artists, Max Romeo! "Words From The Brave" has hard hitting, dark and prophetic reggae as you've come to expect from the man (The World is on Fire, Heaven, Eve of Destruction) but is also not afraid to have some laid back fun on a few tracks (Penguin, Say Yes) which makes it stand out from his previous "Horror Zone" to me. Max is in fine form lyrically and performance wise, as is the band and the production is excellent all around. Cannot speak highly enough of this album, the vinyl pressing is excellent as well for those who are curious. No issues with play at all, and the sound quality is fantastic. Easily one of the best reggae albums of the year from a true legend!
