- Honestly, given how much music they tried to wedge onto one LP, this is a pretty remarkable pressing. Wide stereo image, deep bass, crisp highs with minimal sibilance - to me, it's a success. I won't tell you that the 2LP reissue isn't better, but I will say that if you're like me and value longer sides/not having to constantly get up to flip a record, the OG is an excellent option.
- Very happy to have this repress, especially spread across two slabs of vinyl. Vinyl remastering is very detailed and dynamic, reviving the magic I first encountered on cd in the late 90s. Damn I miss LT. it would have been even better if this shipped as a180 gram, gatefold package but in any case the representative is an improvement to the initial vinyl release.
