- Hard to think of a better tune than The Realms in recent years. Exquisite, precision drumwork, alongside lovely atmospherics. The production levels are ridiculous. Probably my favourite track under the Mahakala alias, just ahead of Blue, which is another beautiful tune on a similar tip.
- Very happy with my copy of this absolute masterpiece, but just for transparency of information, my copy is pretty heavily warped (but plays perfect), and has some crumble at the very outer edge of the disc.
Again, I'm definitely not complaining (I'm sure there's loads of copies that are perfect), I just wanted to share with the community.
Big ups Jim for another fantastic and progressive piece of deep deep jungle - Tomahawk is just huuuuuge! - Edited 5 years agoAnyone else's A side pressed crooked? Needle/arm moves in a wavy oval pattern, the grooves are not round. Plays but cueing it without more weight will make the needle jump.
A shame. - Edited 5 years agoMy copy has bad surface noise (clicks and pops) during the soft breakdown about two thirds in on "the realms", such a shame as it's a beautiful peace of music. Anyone else have this issue or am I just unlucky ?
