As great as the original version of "Up" is, the remix package here is probably better.

The GTO remix is total lunacy, adding in a very famous classical sample that I would know if I wasn't so uncultured - along with some warmer moments in the middle. Possibly too silly for some but it works for me. The T-Bone Castro remix is something else entirely - starting out with some nice rave stabs before dropping into some trademark stripped back PCP hardcore. So trademark in fact, that a reworked version of it was later released on Cold Rush as an original tune (Cypher - Sky High). And the Andi & Hoschi mix focuses on the 303s more, for a more acid techno take.

But my favourite is the Space Cube mix (which is usually true of any tune with a Space Cube remix). He turns the track into a glorious slice of early happy hardcore - with a glorious uplifting middle break bookended by another great bleepy riff. As with the T-Bone Castro remix, this is basically just a Space Cube tune with the "up to the sky" vocal - and just as strong as anything on the Kool Killer EPs.

Four very different versions of this track that really show the diversity of the music at this time.
