I agree, I was lucky enough to find a dead quiet pressing of this 1st pressing, it's absolutely wonderful.

If you can get a sealed or mint copy of this, do it - just as good if not better than the MoFi, except the vinyl noise.....

A damn good record yet Writer is a better more consistent album. And you haven't heard the songs ten thousand times. Take the time to check out Writer and then Rhymes and Reasons. And if you don't have a good Goffin/King collection from before she even had a solo career, then you're really missing out. Someone needs to make a proper Goffin/King box set so people realize the Byrds' Wasn't Born to Follow and the Monkees' Porpoise Song are just a few of the many gems she wrote with her first husband before her solo career. It was no fluke the Beatles covered Chains on an early LP and Keep Your Hands Off My Baby for the BBC.

Could someone tell me which version they think is the best sounding? I've heard the mofi version on vinyl is quite good.

                  Thanks,
                  John
