Recommendations
Reviews
- The runouts on mine have 8-13-86 etched. The separate 45 rpm 1985 UK releases do sound more dynamic.
- Wow!!! This sounds just terrific, great dynamics and soundstage even though its a 120g vinyl press. Beautiful release, grabe it if you can.
- Sounds so much better than the 2015 remaster. The sound is so full and warm. Great dynamic range. Very odd that this plays at 33⅓ rather than 45, but still sounds great. Absolutely love the gatefold this comes in. Would definitely recommend picking this release up for a decent price. If not, just get the eps separately. Definitely don't get the 2015 remaster. That one sounds very compressed and flat.
- No full-length album that year, so these 2 EPs instead. This wine has aged nicely. Sounds dated (and isolated?) and very much so for 1985(ish)... almost leftfield of the leftfield, and yet, staple/essential. Fantastic sound off this particular Canadian 2LP pressing, but if you cannot obtain it, go for the 2015 reissue on single LP. either/or.
