Sounds like the collector below had a defective copy or one that needed a wood glue peel. This is a Monarch 1st pressing of a record that was very well recorded and engineered, and my copy sounds fantastic. It's a great listen, a must have for fans of 70s Yes, and very reasonably priced. I paid $15 for NM.

I have not compared with any other pressing, but my copy has always sounded terrible. The tone is thin, it's distorted with very faint static, and it even has a subtle fluctuation of dynamics. The vinyl looks nice but it's always a disappointing listen. In fact, I am going to search for a second copy from a different pressing and retire this.
