Great music. Snail is one of those great bands who's music was lost between switch between soft rock to disco. They would have fit in during the 80's country pop or early 70's soft rock. Also small record company. Great Band!

The Place to be in the 70's was in Santa Cruz, California. It was a hot bed for music back in those days with more clubs than restaurants. And the hottest spot along with The Chateau Liberta',and Town And Country Lodge, was The Catalyst Club. A hot spot for the likes of Jerry Miller and Moby Grape,Neil Young and the Ducks, The Artichoke Brothers and SNAIL.
Ken Kraft and Bob O'Neil were already master musicians and along with the energy they produced on stage, always played to a sold out house.
Along with regular, Jim Norris, you could count on Musicians like Dale Ockerman(Doobie Brothers,Quicksilver,Airtight)Corny Bumpus(Doobie Brothers)Brett Bloomfield and Donny Baldwin(Starship)to drop by and sit in.
Everyone wanted to play with Ken and Bob.They were that good!
Those of us who were lucky enough to have heard them in concert, known the boys, or ever had them sit in with your band, have a musical treasure, forever locked in our hearts called Snail.
