Is this half speed mastered? It sounds awesome! I played the remix and the 3 LPs on my player, and I can literally hear EVERYTHING! Love the additional pamphlet that it includes, nice information about the session records. Only complaint i have is that there is only two sleeves but three records. I wanted 3 sleeves, two being outtakes of the cover. Not too big of a deal though since the sound makes up for it.

It is disappointing that for this 50th anniversary vinyl version only a single sheet information was included, compared to the amount of material of the cd box. Plus, the number of reported cases of copies of this box with warped discs and with hairlines is worrying. Fans deserve more. Most critics and fans in general say that without a doubt the first English press is definitely the best version of this classic. So, is necessary to create another mix with the risk of change the original balance of the instruments (as the group originally conceived) and making a single instrument stand out from the rest of the band in a new release? A reissue of the original version on a 200 gram vinyl with more detailed printed information would probably be much more satisfying for fans. Stop cash grab.

Wondering how the quality of this remastered pressing AR (1LP) 2019 compares to the pressing AR (3LP) 2019? Compare the pressing quality on both versions. Are there clicks, pops, etc.?
If anyone who’s heard both has any insight into the quality between the two?
Thanks!

I think 2019 remix is better than original pressing. Listening to this box set is like wandering in the Abbey road studio during the album recording sessions. Close your eyes and listen!

Giles Martin hit another out of the park, this anniversary album sounds great some great tinkering just enough because this album doesn’t need much.
Well done mate.

This 2019 remix is just a hoax. I can't believe that they actually sell it with the original album's artwork. They should at least have the decency to mark directly that this is not the intended album's audio by replacing the cover.
I don't mind if anyone likes this, but it is simply not Abbey Road but just a sanctioned bootleg amateur attempt on this diamond. Pathetic. Go paint on some Picasso's instead, I heard that they need betterment from wise guys like you.

I have variant 2. Both sides flawless, very impressed with the clarity.

Very disappointing mix. Too clinical. For there price of the album, the lack of inner sleeve is just plain lazy. Very clean pressing though.

The new mix is very interesting but the pressing is dreadfully dull compare to the UK first pressing. On the other hand, the outtakes double LP is great.

This pressing and release is honestly great. There was not a speck of dust or paper or extra wax on any of my three discs, there's no sibilance on the upper end and the deep end is low, booming, and rich. Huge soundstage, and even the sessions sound modulated in such a way that you really feel like you're in the studio and can hear George Martin through the speaker to the booth. It's really quite incredible, it all sounds so full and fleshed out. Lots of great details that you barely notice on older mixes. Super impressed with this release.
