This is out a couple of months ago and all of you may notice, hear, got or spin it.
The second compilation markedly distinct from these usual night over there and completes a 100% Balearic life and dance free spirit. From the one of the golden SAW moment's and one of the first three Balearic tunes that I discovered back in 1987 Mandy Smith's ''I Just Can't Wait'' on its orginal 7'' Instrumental version 'til to Italo house (or jazz) of Mr Marvin's classic ''Entity'' on its Jazzy Mix. 12'' 1991 the selection full filled by really special tracks.
The atmospheric epic long music of Mildlife's ''Magnificent Moon'' that I heard for the first time on Andrew Jervis Bandweekly and for his esteemed listeners reshape as one of DJ Harvey eclectic dancers. Extract from DJ Nova's album of the year 2018 Nu Guinea's ''Nueva Napoli'' included in the tracklist as Hugh Mane's ''Real Sucker For Your Love'' part of another favourite a year earlier that was missing from my record collection. I love that track and i'm very happy that completes Balearic nightlife, its Simpson's early house, synth funk,boogie even modern funk sound comes so close to the what our label Cala Tarida Musica planned to release on its early steps, Pacific West Coast sound connected with Mediterranean breeze, watch out for our first and upcoming release sound...
To the point, Pamela Nivens' ''It's You I Love'' Instrumental Mix is following this line of boogie oriented Balearic Beat rawness. The Italian deep and driven cosmic disco of Franco combined sampler of System Olympia's ''Close To My Nebula'' is another highlight but the track that wins me the most on the compilation was the one that never heard before ''Slap'' by Das Komplex. I don't even have words to describe it... Disco, cosmic, funk... Killer tune. Balearic For You compilation. - DJ Nova, Balearic For You

A superb collection by Harvey. Tatooine Moons, Arabian Ride, Mr Mercury are my stand outs but my favourite is Magnificent Moon!
This is worth the price of entry for Forgotten Corner & Khidja's almighty, "Tatooine Moons" alone!! If you have never heard it, it is like the sort of music that would play when Luke Skywalker's Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru have gone out (perhaps to the shops) and young Luke has put on some very tight hot pants, and is enjoying the aroma of some amyl nitrate while dancing around the living room.
