- Edited 5 months agoThe sound on this compilation sounds superb - so ‘surprised’ how good it is every time I give it a spin!
They were a great band! - This absolutely smokes the original 1992 single LP that squeezed 8 songs onto each side.
There's a much bigger and more open sound now that there are only 4 songs per side.
Comes with crappy white paper sleeves though. A posséder !
- Edited 5 years agoSounds great and the artwork looks good, but I've got what sounds like some unpleasant non-fill on D2. Anyone else? I'll exchange it if there are good copies out there...
Edit: I'm onto my second copy (from a different retailer, so likely a different point in the production run) and it also suffers from obvious non-fill on D2, though I think slightly less than on my last copy. The pressing otherwise sounds fantastic.
Second edit: third copy still has some non-fill on D2 (and a little on D4), but is passable. Curious as to whether anyone's found a completely clean copy...?
