Raveena (2) – Lucid

After some time with this copy it’s very disappointing. Loved the album and sought a physical copy for a while. Vinyl plays with pretty awful surface noise, especially noticeable between tracks. Jacket is incredibly flimsy and began folding in on itself when stored in an upright position on my shelf. All around, looks like corners were cut by the pressing plant which is an absolute shame because this album is beautiful and deserves a pressing that compliments it’s beauty. I’ve heard the red copies sound slightly better but they’re RED.

The coke bottle clear is beautiful but there is a lot of surface noise and a very noticeable HISS throughout which is a shame

So sad they changed the color of the original pressing. The red doesn't fit well with the esthetic of the album. UO didn't event notice me about the change before shipping it, as I waited for almost 5 months to get it.

Just received my copy today directly from UO, and to my surprise it was not coke bottle Green but translucent Red. Played it to make sure that it was the correct music on it, and it was, but was quite surprised by the different color vinyl.

Exceptionally beautiful, ethereal album. Solid for ~ setting the vibe ~

My copy plays well. No discernable background noise. Purchased direct from artist site.

Just picked this up at Urban Outfitters. It's back in stock there for $28.98. No need to pay these ridiculous prices.

Anyone else have an issue with a quite noticeable noise floor on this release? Wonderful record but there's a "HISS" that is not present on the digital versions.
