Can only compare the vinyl to the old CD version, it has punchy drums with a nice kick in the bass and snare drum. It certainly has a better stereo image, I'm very happy with the sound of the vinyl. I don't have any issues with it.
The packing is great as stated by others, but what I really love about this deluxe versions is the addition of a full live show. (would be even better if they included that on vinyl).
There are some good bootlegs to be found from this era. This official version sounds exceptionally nice and has an unscensored versions of Lounge Fly. Weiland's vocals are astonishing, and I like how he jokes and plays with his audience. The band plays most songs really fast and agressive on this and earlier tours, something they lacked in later tours.
I enjoyed the overall sound of this set. The vinyl sounds much better than the reissue i picked up a few years ago (it wasn't MOV). I was also pleasantly surprised that they included the hidden song on the LP. Cool set.
