Reviews
Been following Black Marble since their first release. The first album was a bit edgier but fantastic. Their second album was the pinnacle. This album feels like leftovers or ones not as good as that album. Still a good album but a little dissapointing. Its almost like successful songs are sounding a little familar. Like the best 2 songs on here sound similar. Private Show & Feels. Good songs...just similar to each other like ones off their second album. Similar structures and changes. Also the vocal delivery has been sounding a littler weaker as albums have gone. More melodic..but a little less confident and edgy. One eye Open is solid. I will continue to follow this band but I think the sound has run its course a bit unless they can have some new inspiration or new ideas. Shoulder has some different sounds and ideas..hooefully more of this in the future. Im being very picky btw. Its just i loved the first 2 albums so much.
This is still a solid 6.5 out of 10 stars for me.
