Nookie remix is unquestionably majestic, and so is the living for the future remix by FBD Project. Both are killers.

To improve the already brilliant soul promenade should be impossible but Nookie nailed it. Amazing track.

With no shadow of a doubt, "Soul Promenade" is a special mark on the history of Jungle & Drum n' Bass.
The Nookie remix for this tune is very special; it samples several parts of famous acappellas such as Siedah Garrett's "K.I.S.S.I.N.G." one, including whisper quotes, but also the classical vocals of Rochelle Fleming from 'First Choice - Let No Man Put Asunder' (Salsoul) on the quote "For your mind, your body and your Soul!".
The aesthetic piano lines match perfectly with the warm chords and the deep, elegant bass lines of the tune. The breakbeats, of course, contains the sample of the Amen Break by The Winstons ("Amen, Brother", 1969).

Nookie did a great job with his remix of 'Soul Promenade'. An uplifting track that worked both on the dancefloor & listening at home. I never tire of hearing that breakdown and then when the bass comes in...brilliant!

Living For The Future on the B-side is a good track but overshadowed by the brilliance of the A-side.
