Can anyone shed light on the female who narrates between tracks please, sounds like Emma Watson!- What fantastic musical experiences and every track offers something special. A must buy imo you can’t not like this.
I've just pressed "Random Item" as I'm listening to Vanishing Girl and I've got straight to the album page. Weird and strangely surreal...
Amazing pressing, nevertheless. The sound is clear, no surface noise, the lower registrer feels just right and it allows enough room for the other instruments to breathe.
Ape House have got it absolutely spot on with this Reissue of The Psychedelic Classic from the Dukes, lovely gatefold artwork and the vinyl plays flawless, clean, crisp and precise. The Dukes nail pitch perfect Psychedelic tracks at a canter, not a bad track on this album released in 1987 or is it 1967 !!??? From Hollies like Vanishing Girl to Pale and Prescious sounding like an outatke from Pet sounds and all the tracks in-between like Sgt Pepper or Syd Barrett Floyd. A Colliadascope of sounds!
Edited 5 years agoA truly perfect pressing. Listening on headphones I didn't hear one single pop or click. And even though I know this album very well I heard details that were new to me. An outstanding reissue.
