Sorry but this album is terrible. I get that it's unfair to compare it to Vanity 6, but omg it's clear how much influence Prince had on the sound. All except for the track Samuelle, it's badly produced and her vocals are cringe.

Sounds like a fun 80s movie soundtrack to me and, as has been stated by other users, it's better than I expected. Indeed, the track "Samuelle" could definitely have been a hit single. I guess nobody is really interested in reissuing it on CD anymore, maybe it's a matter of rights, whatever, but it's not even available on any streaming service. It's for that reason that I had the album professionally digitized by an ex-audio engineer in our neighborhood, taken from a mint vinyl copy and it sounds fantastic.

Killer opening track, leading to a fantastic rest of the album. Stand-outs: Flippin' Out; Samuelle.
