Various – Illaunamid EP

Another lovely release on the ever strong Appian. Whether getting horizontal to o.utlier's aptly named adrift, or stepping along to Kloor's Snowcone, a sense of depth and emotion runs through all the tracks here. Bas Dobbelaer provides some lovely rhythms that patter away under the soothing atmospheres and Tarik Hensen's contribution has a nice combo of whomping low end and hazy, emotive pads. Still seems to be plenty of copies about at reasonable prices, def worth picking up. Such a reliable EP, I've had my copy a few years now and it always provides the vibes.
