- Side one dead quiet. Side two dead noisy with tics/nonfills. Shame
- I haven't played mine yet, but every time I read a valuable comment like yours, JATPL, I always take the precaution of giving the record a good clean before playing it. Not only do they mishandle vinyl records at the plant and force them brutally - and manually - into the covers - often the process involves a lot of dirt and what ever debris /oils who knows, landing on the playing surface and if you play it, you might burn this unwanted debris into the vinyl that might make the pops and clicks eternal, but if you manage to clean it FIRST - quite often these poorly manufactured pieces of vinyl might end up sounding pretty damn good - no pops - no clicks. I've written reviews like these on several occasions, but I will clean it and get back on the result.
Great pressing, dead quiet and amazing sound. This was the first coloured LP I have bought in years as I was always put off by the poor sound quality, since buying this I have purchased further coloured records and can tell no difference between their standard counterparts.- Edited 5 years agoI am completely happy to be corrected but judging by the creased up inner sleeve and clicks and ticks across the record I am fairly sure this is a (Sub) Optimal pressing. Why can't they get the records into the sleeves without creasing or scratching them FFS?
I have heard three copies of this now and all three copies, the rap on the title track has a series of ticks and clicks running through it. Very, very annoying.
