I’m really impressed about sound quality. Press is from 2019 and not quite often you are getting it. Album with lots of well known songs.

Great sound quality I use the Audio-Technica VM750SH cartridge. Simply The Best.

There were like a dozen copies of this at my record store today (I'm in France), as well as Private Dancer. Do you think they were repressed following Tina Turner's death? It seems quick. Maybe they had stocks. There were many copies of her CDs too, which I'm sure weren't there before.

I don’t know what others are complaining about here, but this 2019 release sounds fantastic. Pressed at Optimal, so it’s clean and flat. Great sound quality, no distortion whatsoever at any point on this recording. There is zero difference with the blue vinyl pressing; the same pressing plates / matrix codes apply to that release as well.

Received the blue version yesterday and pressing is quite good. Records very flat and sound great!

The sound is terrible. The quality is at the level of an mp3 collection of pirated copies from the 90s. Extremely disappointed!(

Get the 2019 re-issue blue version of this - unusually for a coloured disc, it sounds way better.

Very good pressing, clear and flat records, not noisy surface, no pop or clics. Sound is digital source, but have a good bass, I like it

I was so excited when I saw this being released as my 1991 copy from Portugal was severely worn. Even worn though, it sounds way better than this re-release. This pressing sounds distorted and compressed almost unlistenable.

As fellow discographer "botelhda" mentions below, this pressing is sadly, far from being "simply the best". Tina's voice sounds very ill-defined on some of the songs, and hideously compressed on others. This has really upset my mam, as she has had her patent leather mini skirt dry-cleaned, and was going to be her toyboy Gavin's very own "Private Dancer" after I am in bed. But now she says she will be sending this record back, and writing a letter to Parlophone Records demanding they reimburse the dry-cleaning bill for her patent leather mini skirt which she can no longer use to titillate and arouse her toyboy, Gavin!!
