The Supergau album is full of great tunes, but no question for me this is the best 12" of the set. My two favourites are both here:- Alex Kassian - Chopstick Romance, which I admit I wouldn't have picked straight away. I quite like tribal-ambient stuff in general, mainly as chillout background stuff, but after a few repeat plays something about it just elevated the track. There are occasional moments where i'm reminded of Leftfield's Melt, so maybe that helps, but it's definitely its own tune. Love it. My other favourite is Etbonz - Something To Dream About; an 80s influenced electro acidy thing that still makes me smile every time i hear it, especially when that acid line first kicks in around the 2 minute mark. Absolute bomb.

And it doesn't seem right not to mention the other two as they're both still excellent. I actually bought this because of Fantastic Man since i'd been a fan for a while and he never really disappoints. I guess this might have been classed as proggy breakbeat once upon a time, but i'm not so sure now. Just a great track. And lastly Daniela La Luz's Warszawa, which is a more of a minimal/deep number, but it still creates a fantastic atmosphere.

Overall one of the finest EPs I've heard in recent times, and there has been a lot of strong competition of late.
