Electrotete or better known as Juno Reactor deliver one of my favourite tunes here; B-side Alcatraz is an old school goa tune with a nice "gypsy violins" twist thrown in. This track also appears on Paul Oakenfolds classic "Goa Mix" (part of BBC's Essential Mix series) from 1994.
The A-side Shark is a fine ambient track, which would reappear a couple of years later as the closing track of Juno Reactor's 1997 album Bible Of Dreams. Nice but not as good as Alcatraz with which it shares a few similarities.

March 26, 2020For an added bonus you get the ambient psychedelia of Shark. Juno reactor put out a few of these Goa ambient meanderings and the Track Landing, which can be found with Man to Ray is even better than this one. If these 2 tracks don't peak your interest in Classic Goa Trance then it might be time to experiment in some mind expanding substances and mark this for a later date.......or just buy it and trust you will grow to love it in time. Play it loud on a full moon..............and let go.
