This is really like one long track (maybe it originally was when created), you can even hear the ending/recurring line of Shark at the beginning of Alcatraz and throughout. Alcatraz is really nice early Goa which is not surprising given who was behind it.

Two tracks from 1994 both in A minor with very similar BPM.

In The history of Classic Goa Trance this is an essential release for the track Alcatraz. Juno Reactor has a handful of essential tracks in the genre of Classic Goa Trance.........The track Man to Ray is probably the most essential Juno Reactor track in early release Goa Trance and is one of the most memorable tracks in the early years of Classic Goa Trance. Don't confuse this Alcatraz track with the Peyote track also called Alcatraz. But do listen to the Peyote track because it is an amazing tribal-trance track that is also one of my favorites. You could play both Alcatraz tracks back to back and it would work together very well.

For an added bonus you get the ambient psychedelia of Shark. Juno reactor put out a few of these Goa ambient meanderings and the Track Landing, which can be found with Man to Ray is even better than this one. If these 2 tracks don't peak your interest in Classic Goa Trance then it might be time to experiment in some mind expanding substances and mark this for a later date.......or just buy it and trust you will grow to love it in time. Play it loud on a full moon..............and let go.

Electrotete or better known as Juno Reactor deliver one of my favourite tunes here; B-side Alcatraz is an old school goa tune with a nice "gypsy violins" twist thrown in. This track also appears on Paul Oakenfolds classic "Goa Mix" (part of BBC's Essential Mix series) from 1994.
The A-side Shark is a fine ambient track, which would reappear a couple of years later as the closing track of Juno Reactor's 1997 album Bible Of Dreams. Nice but not as good as Alcatraz with which it shares a few similarities.
