Nothing wrong with the tunes on the B-side, but dear me, this release is all about "Accident." This is a real lesser-known gem, and one that excellently captures the eccentric, sophisticated genius of mid-to-late '90s hard acid trance.

It starts with a simple DJ-friendly intro, but after only a couple measures, a telltale VooDoo-style bassline drops in. Within another 40 seconds, you're introduced to the real star of this tune---that tight, electric acid line, which jumps and dances about with pitch shifts regularly. It's like the acid-backbone of the track. Then you get a tasty breakdown featuring a female vocal (not any words or lyrics---just a sonorous ambient-style vocal) and some lower-energy acid warbles, eventually joined by the rumbling thunder of a kick-roll and smashing cymbal crashes, all culminating in a deliciously devastating drop. Seriously, this drop is like being transported back to a mid-to-late '90s trance/techno party via sound alone.

In any case, after a false-stop and re-drop, the track eventually breaks down and reboots again, this time with both the sharp and lazy acid lines working in tandem. After a minute or so of this glorious material, you might think you're headed for the end, perhaps with a quick fade-out rather than a long, piece-by-piece outro. And indeed, that's what seems to happen, with the track suddenly rolling to a stop and apparently finishing ... until about 4-5 seconds later, when a handful of cymbal smashes and a quick kick-roll explode the track back into full splendor for one more wild, acid-drenched ride-out. F#cking hell, what a tune.

Best track on VooDoo in my opinion. Acid class.
