Reviews
- Ultramarine Sun has become my favorite Drøn album, even over the original Electrolux releases. Here we find Drøn at their most laid back, with their trademark repetitive, skittering percussion largely absent in favor of flowing ambient journeys that are infinitely replayable. Deep bass stabs and just enough rhythmic sensibility keep the album interesting and moving forward at a nice and relaxed pace. It's a perfect album for a lazy weekend morning or at the end of the night with a glass of red wine.
My only criticism is that Touched has not released this on vinyl or CD. A real shame.
