Excellent pressing: loud on bass, at the same time brilliant. I compared it with my original USA CD and they sound similar, but I prefer this LP. Maybe the CD is a little bit sharper, but this LP is more powerful.

Pay no attention to any negative reviews here on this pressing. There’s Always someone… this sounds fantastic! Some reviewers are claiming the vocals are loud and clear but the instruments are “behind” in the mix. I call BS on that! Totally untrue and I recommend those people analyze their systems. I have an original cd And cassette, and this pressing beats them both in overall power and dynamics. This will Totally satisfy Any DP fan that doesn’t wanna fork out a few hundred for an original pressing. And I’m Very picky!!!! And for those analog people… this was recorded digitally to begin with! There Is no analog recording of this album. And I know that Nobody except perhaps some DJ’s had this on vinyl when it first came out, as I’m a pro DJ and all we had were the 12” singles at the time and had to get the full album on cassette or cd. Vinyl was Dead! There was no platform for finding and buying vinyl from overseas at the time. Anyway!! This is very nice. The nice matte cover, the quality of the vinyl and the sound. The only complaint to be made is that they put the vinyl in a laminated printed cardboard inner sleeve. When are record companies gonna get it?!! Other than that it’s perfect.

Bought this based on all the glowing reviews. It’s definitely louder than the original pressing. Otherwise, I’m underwhelmed. It’s better than most new release as far as the quality of the record itself. It’s glossy, flat, and didn’t come pre-scuffed. However the sound quality can’t be matched by the original that I’ve been listening to for years.

I will say, the gatefold is gorgeous.

After an ultrasonic bath, this pressing plays very clean and quiet (nice gatefold presentation). It sounds big, lots of lower end, but disappointed to read the OG pressings have shorter run outs which means this pressing is less dynamic (that was dumb for such an otherwise nice reissue). I have no complaints about it but it is fairly neutral compared to my OG cd.

Not a huge Depeche Mode fan, and I don't have anything to compare this to, but it sounds bloody fantastic. Great album too .... no filler.

Depeche Mode Best Of - zumindest sind hier die bekannten Hits in brillanter Aufnahme enthalten. Ganz offensichtlich gehört diese Scheibe zu den beliebtesten Mode Alben. In jedem Fall ein Muss für die Sammlung und immer wieder gerne aufgelegt.
