Reviews
Another song whose renaissance was driven by popularity amongst party ravers, primarily from London's 'rare groove' scene back in the mid 80's, fuelled by the street DJ's, their connected sound systems and inner city pirate radio. Heralding the arrival of and driving interest in the kind of music you could not hear on legal radio.
The now legendary horn intro was always met with loud rapturous cheers from the ravers in a party /dance. It still is possibly one of the most played (some peers would say overplayed) song of the scene. Of course, the obscurity of the LP and 12" and demand resulted in 'Music' being heavily bootlegged. Before it's cult status as one of the most popular and historically important tracks of the rare groove scene was immortalised with it's inclusion late on in BMG's now seminal 'Rare' compilation series.

Very rare item however anyone with a clue about music will know that unlike the LP version, the best part of the track between the intro and the vocal has been taken out. Very sad indeed!
