A great sounding pressing although I agree with what has been said here about the cover It is all pixelated & looks not great. This seems to happen with quit a few back on black pressings however. Pretty much every album cover they do is pixelated they really need to get on that and try and make the quality better looking. That being said you can still make out all the details in the picture it just looks fuzzy and not crystal clear like the original. The music on the vinyl sounds great though! This was the last album i needed to complete my pre prison Burzum collection, Now I just need to obtain Fallen & his dungeonsynth albums \m/- Looking for a spare gatefold cover sleeve. PM me if you have one.
Outstanding pressing! Without any clicks, pops or any other distortions (even on "Tomhet"). Very dynamic and full sounding!
However: WHY someone have done such brutally scale of the picture of front cover???!!!
It looks terrible and ruines this beautiful painting by Theodor Kittelsen, make it looks like incomplete / truncated!

I don t have any issues about the sound quality of the record. sounds better than the cd- Great sounding record! I always had the Misanthropy cds and I was curious if this lip will sound different- it does and in the good way. I heard stuff I've never before heard on the cds, but maybe because my turntable set up is way better than the CD player I have.
Anyway, do not hesitate to buy this. I have Filosofem 2lp and it sounds great as well! - Edited 4 years agoFunny to hear someone complaining about Burzum record sounding like crap xD
My copy sounds great but the label on the LP is for "Det Som Engang Var". Not a big deal for me but a poor mis-hap on Back On Black's part.
I bought this new and my copy came with the "Det Som Engang Var" LP inside! Sad thing is I didn't noticed until now and I bought it a few years ago. Anyone else have this same problem?
My copy sounds great. I heard that the 2005 reissue sounds like crap though.
