Reviews
- The download files are, as said before, not 24 but 16 bit FLAC, but instead range from 88-96 kHz.
The first double LP doesn't only inlcude Laibach's self titled first album but also tracks from the Rekapitulacija box set. As Laibach states in the personal note, the material of the box set was expanded during the years working on its release. As such I suggest to see this as an anthology/compilation, not only as a re-release of their first lp.
As for a review: the remaster sounds great, the reworks are very interesting too. Recommended and worth the wait. - Actually, the downloads are NOT 24bit but 16bit. I contacted Laibach WTC (Informbüro) and they explained to me, that 24bit is the rate they master LPs from, but the digital formats don't need this high a resolution.
