Reviews
- Edited 2 years agoI have the first press from 1995 (JBCD25), and apart from the low enough engraving level (must increase the volume to have presence) like many original recordings of the 80's, the sound is pretty good. And the master was made at Nimbus which ultra renowned for the quality of these... it's a type of drum & bass like 4Hero/Jacob's Optical Stairway. Listen to their first and unique album, the rendering is the same...
- Can anyone comment on the audio quality of this particular release? JBCD25. I recently bought a second hand copy, sounds poor (harsh overall, brittle, no depth). I know it was remastered for the 1996 re-release. But is the 1995 version on CD uniformly terrible? Or is this a bootleg I have?
- This is one of the first few CDs I owned. Underrated in my opinion. I still listen to it regularly. I'd go as far as saying it's better (certainly darker + more interesting) than Timeless. The bonus track #14 is incredibly deep and moving.
