- Edited 2 months agoBy this time, "The O'Jays" albums were very far and few in between....This was just another example of it with "The Year 2000".....As usual, there are bright moments....Songs like "Girl, Don't Let It Get You Down" (Crown Jewel) and "Once Is Not Enough", helps keep "The O'Jays" relevant....The good thing is that it still doesn't tarnish the group's legacy....
- Kind of a forgotten O'Jays album, I mean there are better ones, but "To Prove I Love You" is really a good little track. They get hold of a nice pocket, and it has some swing in it, definitely disco-influenced. 117 BPM, very mixable!
