My black vinyl copy is a poor pressing. And I'll say that again just to reach minimum wordcount – my black vinyl copy is a poor pressing.

I bought my copy directly from Pan (the label). If you are selling/shipping this, PLEASE remove the record from the orange plastic sleeve prior to shipping and pack with extra care. My copy was handed directly to me in the post (not left in the sun) but somehow was very warped from being in some heat somewhere during transit. Also, the spindle hole is super tight, takes some effort to pull off the platter.

The good news is, the music and design are exceptionally beautiful! The record has a lot of dynamic range for so much audio to be on both sides. Sounds punchy, deep and clear, just a little crackly and noisy.

I'm really enjoying this minimalist, creative LP. I'd never heard of Beatrice Dillon but stumbled across a review online, and then streamed it before getting hold of the LP. A first spin shows this to be a really good pressing with no noise, and good dynamics.
