Reviews
- Acquired this album on its initial release and upon first listening it didn’t register as anything more than interesting. Subsequent years having passed I now believe in the canon of great ambient albums this is up there with the best of the many electronic albums of the last decade or so. Superb, though disappointing the artist in question has released nothing beyond this work as far as I know.
- This LP is one of my favourites from the ASIP stable. The emotion evoked from the self titled track "Metaphors For Things" is so, so moving. I only wish it was longer than six minutes...
An essential ambient LP, up there with the best in my book and looking forward to more output from this artist.
My only reservation would be a preference of black vinyl, not a fan of the coloured variants which seem to be the norm these days... purely subjective I know.
