Absolutely influential. How did this not even see a CD release until several years ago?! Sandy Bull manages to be an early innovator in Eastern sounds integrated with Western music. For many, the liner notes would be the first time ever reading the names "Ravi Shankar" and "Ali Akbar Khan", listed as influences for "Blend". The B-side tracks are also highly enjoyable. Overall, this album needs to be better known today than it is. Find a copy if you can!
