Children of the Black Ghetto is out of the Earth. No words. Only music as the depth of the Spirit. Rough. Heavy. Blasting.
I'm gonna say get this record if only for the amazing 'Children of The Black Ghetto' track.
A rolling african drum, in the foreground with amazing Rhodes keys & an emotional chord that teases in & out. I would say this sums up the title very nicely.
Deepness & emotion abound in such a simple sounding track not without it's punch.
Check Reggie on the Time:Space 2 album on Transmat too. Also good stuff!
But this is an amazing cut from Reggie D.
