300-400 dollars for a first pressing of this? I thought this would be considered junk that sells for maybe 100-200 dollars.

Charles Manson did not become a musical legend for 2 reasons:
1. He wasn't very good. Some songs are legitimately good (mostly all the material on the second side) but there's a lot of incoherent and nonsensical rambling with poor guitar playing.
2. Well, you know...
If this album had been released without Manson pursuing lets say an alternative career, it would've been forgotten and had a minor cult following from the same type of people that enjoy it now.

On a side note, does anyone have just the insert?

I don't see how is this a test pressing. It looks the same as the standard release.

Reissue when? Honestly this needs a remaster and a reissue, even if it is very limited.
