Reviews
- Edited 13 years agoIt's records like this that give me so much great memories of the circa 1994 ambient techno scene. Chill out music at it's best. Slightly psychedelic, definitely mysterious but overall just plain deep electronic take you to another planet and leave your troubles behind music. Some of the tracks think B12 Time Tourist and GPR label and you should understand what takes longer to describe. Jake Stephenson's added touch of post rave sci-fi vocal samples and overall aggressiveness to the ambient techno formula are specially exciting even 15 years after and how ahead of his time he was. His aggressiveness reminds me of Robert Leiner's attack on techno. Jake Stephenson's put that kind of muscle into ambient tracks. See 'Wobbling in Space' sub bass
