it is a truly classic tune, as with 1 of the other coments, i also was actualy in spin in manchester, when it was down in the underground,, and it was being played, it was a mad time then, trying to get the tunes ya wanted,, thease tunes were so underground and hard to get, that, if you didnt grab 1 there and then, you more than likely didnt get what you wanted, the guy behind the counter was just playing loads of new stuff, and saying, who wants a copy, and all hands wound go up, he wound give each of us copies till we had a pile to go home with, with a big smile on ya face. when i purchased this, i also puchased, visa, let me see you move, the very original copy, urban shake down, do it now, and on the same label, ruff beats, producing the bass, family foundation - exspress yourself, and a few other, i cant remember. but they were the days, all the core of today is much easyer to come by, its so comercial,, back then, it was truly underground. this stuff was like gold dust.. there will never be other time better than 1991 1992 for old skool.. why did it have to change. i respect all those producers who gave us all thease tunes that give us old skool rave heads, great listening plesure.....

I wish I knew more about this record. Bought from a seedy Manchester record shop in early '92, I only listened to about 30 seconds of the A-side before practically begging to hand over my £4, as all the other punters in the shop started asking what's this playing, I'll have one of those. As far as I knew this was the only copy ... and later I don't think it was ever released on a label. God knows why as both tracks are truly epic, and it's still one of my favourite bits of vinyl. Track A is aimed more at the dancefloor, has quality drum programming such that Mickey Finn would be proud, with rather full on synth and sub bass rumblings. Early Drum & Bass almost. Side B is more chilled with a regular 4/4 bass and almost trancey in places reminiscent of Genlog and similar. Hard to find, but worth the effort for sure.

This is what beautiful and well crafted music sounds like. A wonderfully engineered treat for lovers of rolling basslines and hardcore stabs. I can't get over how much i love this record. Both tunes are solid 7am on the way back from the club essentials.

buy it...if you can find a copy that is.
