Notes
This is the "forgotten twin" of Schattenmädchen. The original album from 2007 gathers songs that had been released on compilation albums before and some new ones especially written for this album. The compilation tracks had been polished and extensively reworked for the album.
Now in 2020 this "forgotten twin" collects the original - sometimes more minimalistic and hard to find - compilation tracks. The digital only release features also different versions of the exclusive Schattenmädchen album tracks.
Brandnew and only here you find "Als es vor 49 Tagen begann", a coronaviral edit of "Karla". In 2007 Karla delivered a poetic case history of a girl suffering a mysterious viral infection. This is the 2020 update in the shadow of the worldwide Coronavirus crises.
Track 4 originally released on compact disc part of multiple media compilation boxset Various - Statement 1961
