Life-changing ACID amazingness that warped all of our brains - absolutely E-sential vinyl. And this was 1991. As good as it gets.

This record and Pro-2 (Circuit Breaker on Probe) were enough to get a mini acid party going back in the early 90's.
Start with Overkill, mix it up with SA, flip pro-2 over and mix it with Open Your Mind, switch to FU-2, end up with Frenz-E.
            Pure Acid Techno heaven.
Unbelievable that this was all from 1991.

Substance Abuse is just an 11 out f 10. Much more words than this are not necessary in my opinion.

even though this is an NSC record, it's a bit disappointing if you compare it to the digital version. the bass is thin because the mids and highs are disproportionally loud and at times there's a squeaky sound throughout the track

I have been playing this record over & over again & again in berlin 1991 at the planet club (vol. 1) and other locations in berlin. f.u.2 is a blue print to so called "intelligent techno" how i describe it to myself. this record has a massive input to me and my understanding of what techno changes a lot in the approach of modern electronic dance music. this record builds pictures in my mind & brings me in certain states of mind. one of my all time favorite techno tracks and dive into the music.

we have been very very lucky at this time to have the hardwax record store which bring all! the important techno tracks from all over the planet to berlin. thx again to the pioneer mark ernestus!
