Reviews
What a great album! Even though it fits into the "Neo Soul" niche, these guys have more real soul than a dozen Joss Stones. Great songs, most written by the band themselves, with loving production from legend Pete Wingfield, makes this one of the coolest items of the genre (especially in 1988, when it was hard to find music made by actual humans on the FM radio). The fact that The Pasadenas were not a commercial success in the USA says much more about this country's musical awareness than it does about the band. Worth seeking out, along with the 12" extended version of "Riding On A Train".
