The title track reminds me of mid-period Tangerine Dream in places.

15 minutes and 17 seconds from Alpha, some Mercurian Funk on the flipside... it doesn't get any better.

Another incredible Larry Heard record. Simple hypnotic house with lots of passion and melody behind it.

yeah, i was like latter? the word is simply more often used than "former" and this is why "latter" comes to mind first when referring to one of two items
and we just stick latter in there hoping it will be referring to the thing we want it to. i've also made the mistake myself.
            LARRY rulz!

In the world of music, there are leaders and there are followers.
Mr. Heard is absolutely of the latter.. Seldom does he disappoints and this will please all the fans of the legend. Again he captivates beauty with good and vintage production skills. The classic trademarks are all there with old-school sounds like cowbells and handclaps and other TR-909 sounds, but he has left the 303 alone this time.
You can find alot of influences of Kraftwerk here, especially in the title track. But this record is equally to keeping traditions as well as bringing music forward, which most of producers today fail badly on. The roots of the Detroit sound is maybe more present here rather than Larry's more traditional Chicago sound. but for a man like him he brings forward brilliance that takes good musical influences that he has grasped upon trough his life.
It takes a master to make something perfect and in this case this is most certainly it.
