This set of remixes is laidback after-hours house at its essence, featuring soft and sparse keys, a deep and minimal bassline, a snappy break used over the kick, and well-used and not overly done vocal sample in an Mark Kinchen sort of way. If you're a fan of that early 90s NY deep after-hours house sound, this is definitely something to be sought after. It took me 7 years to find this piece and still love it to death.
update // I first heard this on a mixtape that I bought at Eightball in NY circa '92, and the last time I remembered hearing this out was at Legends in NY sometime in the spring of '96 or so. still digging this over 20+ years out...
